The Design Concept
What "Japandi" means and why it works here.
Japandi is an approach to interior design. The concept of “ma” comes from Japan—the belief that emptiness is not an absence
but a form of tranquility. From Scandinavia comes the understanding of materiality: wood that feels warm, light that
makes rooms feel spacious, functionality without coldness.
In the apartments of the Residenz am Schloss, these two traditions come together in spaces ranging from 22 to 52 square meters that feel larger than they are
— because every centimeter was designed with intention. Light oak tones on the floor. Wall colors that
and cast a warm glow in the evening. Built-in furniture that wastes no space. Bathrooms that feel as though someone
put more time into them than necessary.
Fully furnished means everything is included. From the bed to the coffee maker, from the bedding sets to the pots and pans. When you move in, you arrive
just their suitcase.
